About the Role

Guru Nanak Drywall Ltd. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team. As a Light Duty Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweeping and Mopping Floors: Ensure all floors are clean and free of debris.
  • Dusting and Polishing: Dust all furniture and fixtures, and polish floors and surfaces as needed.
  • Cleaning and Disinfecting: Clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, as well as operating rooms and other areas.
  • Handling Lost and Found Items: Handle and report lost and found items in a timely manner.
  • Trash and Recycling: Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Window and Surface Cleaning: Wash windows, walls, and ceilings as needed.
Support for Diverse Groups
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Provide a welcoming work environment for newcomers and refugees by offering diversity and cross-cultural trainings.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Provide cultural competency training and awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
  • Support for Mature Workers: Provide awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers.
