Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at Swift Connect INC. As an Early Childhood Educator Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our childcare centre and contributing to the development of young children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Implementation: Assist early childhood educators in planning and implementing programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Record Keeping: Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of children's progress and development.
  • Engagement and Activities: Engage children in various activities, including storytelling, singing, and craft preparation, to promote their cognitive, emotional, and social development.
  • Preparation and Maintenance: Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods to ensure a safe and healthy environment for children.
  • Observations and Reporting: Submit written observations on children's progress and development to early childhood educators or supervisors.
  • Team Collaboration: Attend staff meetings to discuss children's progress, share ideas, and address any concerns or challenges.
Requirements
  • Certifications and Qualifications: Possess a Child Development Assistant (ECE Level 1) certification or equivalent.
  • Security and Safety: Meet the requirements for a criminal record check, medical exam, and immunization records.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Be able to perform repetitive tasks, maintain attention to detail, and work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking environments.
