Customer Service and Shipping Coordinator

Job Summary:
Lantic Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Customer Service and Shipping Representative to join our team at our Taber facility. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless customer service and shipping operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage customer appointments and schedules to meet delivery deadlines.
- Schedule pickups and deliveries, and coordinate shipping/receiving to meet customer demand.
- Weigh trucks in and out using the truck scale, and communicate with truck drivers in a respectful and professional manner.
- Prepare logistics related to the delivery of goods by the Lantic truck fleet, taking into account the Collective Agreement, overtime, and cost.
- Prepare delivery orders, and prepare necessary documentation (Certificate of Analysis, export/billing documents, etc.).
- Maintain daily reporting and analysis to monitor and anticipate inventory purchases.
- Process credits, returns, and bill out orders, as well as receive and process orders, invoicing.
- Maintain control of pending orders, back orders, and returns.
- Communicate with all levels within the organization, as well as brokers, customs, and customers.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Education in operations management/logistics/supply chain management/administration or equivalent experience.
- 1-3 years of customer service experience in a manufacturing environment (considered an asset).
- Proficient in computers and computer programs such as Microsoft Office.
- Good keyboard and typing skills.
- Ability to handle a high level of correspondence.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Good problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to connect and communicate with different personalities.
