About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Caregiver Assistant to join our team at Pauline Family. As a Family Caregiver Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
  • Medication Administration: Safely administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals, maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns.
  • Household Management: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundry and meal preparation, to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
  • Meal Planning and Preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious meals and snacks, considering dietary restrictions and preferences.
  • Errands and Shopping: Assist clients with grocery shopping and other errands, ensuring they have access to essential items.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Criminal Record Check: A valid criminal record check is required for this position.
Work Environment

Our clients reside in a non-smoking environment, and we require our caregivers to maintain a smoke-free lifestyle.
