We are seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Kent Building Supplies Inc. As a key member of our retail leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our store, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Provide a first-class customer experience by demonstrating sensitivity to customer needs and building sincere relationships.
- Team Leadership: Engage and motivate team members with energy and optimism, promoting leadership at all levels and fostering a positive work environment.
- Operational Excellence: Possess an entrepreneurial spirit and continuously innovate to achieve great results, implementing process improvements and leveraging technology for project management and analysis.
- Communication: Communicate with honesty and integrity, creating a space for others to do the same and leading with courage.
- Relationship Building: Foster connection by putting people first and building trusting relationships with customers, team members, and stakeholders.
- 5 years of retail management experience
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Ability to leverage technology for project management, analysis, and problem-solving (including Microsoft Office Suite)
- Openness to continuous improvement and responsibility for independent learning
