About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Optometrist to join our team at North Peace Optometry Clinic. As an Optometrist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional eye care services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Examine Patients' Eyes: Conduct thorough eye exams, perform tests, and use specialized instruments to determine visual efficiency.
  • Prescribe Treatment: Provide treatment to conserve, improve, and correct vision and other ocular disorders.
  • Advise on Eye Care: Educate patients on the use and care of contact lenses and other eye care products.
  • Refer Patients: Refer patients to ophthalmologists or other physicians and surgeons when ocular or other diseases are found.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities and membership in the Canadian Association of Optometrists (CAO).
