Occupational Therapist

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at SE Health in Red Deer. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing patient management through all stages of assessment, treatment, consultation, and follow-up services to patients.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patient needs and goals
- Develop and implement patient-centered treatment plans using a collaborative approach with therapy assistants
- Work effectively with the interdisciplinary care team to provide high-quality care within AHS care guidelines
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote independence and well-being
- Recent experience in managing patients in acute or long-term care rehabilitation programs
- Completion of a master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active registration and practice permit from the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT)
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to new computer applications and technology
