About Your Next Challenge

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our team at Harris Geospatial Solutions. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the verification and validation of naval communications systems for military and commercial applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure the highest quality of our products
  • Collaborate with embedded software designers, hardware designers, and stakeholders to deliver test iterations and track results
  • Participate in design reviews to ensure design requirements are testable
  • Define and set up test and validation environments, including script development and vendor communication
  • Develop and run automated tests covering functionality and diagnostic requirements
  • Communicate critical issues and status updates in a timely manner
  • Debug test failures and analyze root causes
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent with 2-10 years of experience in systems engineering
  • Experience with integration and test of military or commercial systems
  • Knowledge of naval communication systems and protocols (TCP, IP, FTP, DNS, SSH, etc.)
  • Experience with scripting languages (Python, Lua, JavaScript, Bash, XML, JSON, etc.)
  • Experience in different hypervisors (KVM, VMware, VirtualBox, etc.)
  • Solid experience in test automation and continuous integration
  • Strong English written and spoken skills
