Electrical Engineer - Infrastructure

At EXP, we're seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer - Infrastructure to join our Mechanical/Electrical Infrastructure team in Sudbury, ON.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop design packages, including schematic diagrams, instrumentation drawings, and electrical distribution plans.
  • Prepare concept reports, meeting minutes, and specification documents.
  • Conduct site surveys to gather existing conditions information.
  • Perform electrical calculations for systems.
  • Source equipment from suppliers and collaborate with senior designers on selection.
  • Attend site meetings with senior staff members.
  • Contribute to system-level design and assist with general tasks as needed.
  • Assist with electrical pricing and create detailed technical writing for proposed projects.

Your Qualifications

  • Registered as an Engineer-In-Training with PEO.
  • 3-7 years of experience, preferably in infrastructure consulting engineering.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.

What Sets You Apart

  • 8-10 years of experience, preferably in infrastructure consulting engineering.
  • Skilled in AutoCAD and proficient in REVIT.
  • Knowledge of programming and instrumentation design.
  • Experience with wastewater and water treatment facilities.
  • Proficient in photometric calculation software, such as Agi32, and short circuit calculations using SKM or ETAP.
