Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management: Provide strategic leadership and management to ensure the effective implementation of educational programs and services.
  • Curriculum Development: Develop and implement curriculum plans that align with the board's strategic priorities and meet the needs of our students.
  • Teacher Support: Provide coaching and support to teachers to enhance their instructional practices and improve student outcomes.
  • Community Engagement: Foster strong relationships with parents, community members, and other stakeholders to promote a culture of collaboration and mutual respect.
  • Professional Development: Plan and deliver professional development opportunities to support the growth and development of teachers and other staff members.
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Develop and implement assessment and evaluation strategies to measure student learning and program effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Education: Master's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Certification: Ontario College of Teachers certification and leadership certification.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in educational leadership and management.
