Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Policy Analyst to join our team at the Government of Saskatchewan. As a key member of our Governance, Regulatory, and Legislative Services Unit, you will play a critical role in providing analysis, advice, and leadership on legislation, policy, and governance across our Ministry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert analysis and advice on legislation, policy, and governance to support informed decision-making
  • Develop and implement effective policy solutions to address complex issues and challenges
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to build relationships and achieve shared goals
  • Lead and participate in project teams to develop and implement policy initiatives
  • Stay up-to-date with government decision-making processes and legislative and regulatory developments
Requirements
  • Graduate degree in social science, health/public administration, public policy, or a related discipline
  • Experience with policy development, governance, and the legislative and regulatory processes within government
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders and audiences
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically
  • Leadership and project management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with equity group members and a commitment to diversity and inclusion
  • Knowledge of government policies and procedures, including the legislative and regulatory frameworks
