The Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Civil Engineer to join our Land Development and Municipal Engineering Team at WSP Global Inc. in Owen Sound. As an Engineering Graduate, you will be responsible for executing a variety of tasks related to road, stormwater, water, and wastewater infrastructure design, including site servicing, feasibility studies, and technical design production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in engineering design assignments for road, stormwater, water, and wastewater infrastructure.
  • Participate in the development of concept, preliminary, and detailed engineering drawings, designs, and plans.
  • Support in preparing construction cost estimates and quantities, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Assist project managers with quality monitoring, including scope review, budgeting, and scheduling.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering from an accredited Canadian university.
  • 0-5 years of engineering experience in land development and municipal engineering.
  • General design knowledge of roads and highways, site servicing, and stormwater management.
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
  • Excellent MS Word and Excel abilities.
  • Valid Ontario driver's license.
