Senior Windows Engineer Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Windows Engineer to join our client's talented team on a 6-month contract with a strong probability of extension. As a Senior Windows Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining all aspects of device lifecycle management, including enrollment, configuration, protection, and retirement.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Windows endpoint management capabilities.
  • Design, develop, and maintain solutions and remote management of device lifecycle in Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) and Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM).
  • Deploy, configure, and administer features of Intra ID (Azure AD) and M365 services.
  • Lead the process of rolling out OS upgrades, including enforcing security vulnerability update policies.
  • Provide guidance and production support for Windows endpoint management in a complex, geographically distributed environment.
  • Automate and document standard operational procedures.
  • Continuously research, identify, design, and implement recommendations and solutions to improve and streamline the day-to-day end-user and business experience.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of relevant Enterprise Mobility Management (Windows) experience, with at least 5+ years as the main technical SME and resource on projects using Agile methodologies.
  • Strong experience with PowerShell and Graph API or Bash scripting.
  • Creating and maintaining custom scripts in Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) and Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM).
  • Experience with Reporting and Analytics.
  • Good knowledge with Intra ID (Azure AD), M365 Security, and endpoint clients.
  • Zero Trust/Security Experience.
  • Azure Cloud Certifications.
  • Microsoft licensing experience.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Comfort working in complex and large-scale environments.
  • Successful track record delivering quality results on complex cross-functional projects.
  • Team Lead/Senior member of a team experience with a desire to mentor younger team members and develop their skills.
