Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to our pharmacists and contribute to the smooth operation of our pharmacy department.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding customer service by assisting customers with inquiries, providing product information, and resolving concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Accurately dispense medications under the supervision of a pharmacist, ensuring adherence to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date prescription records and inventory management systems.
  • Process pharmacy orders, manage stock levels, and ensure adequate supply of medications and supplies.
  • Assist with cashiering duties, processing transactions efficiently and accurately.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment by supporting colleagues and fostering teamwork.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Pharmacy assistant certificate is preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a customer service role.
  • Previous pharmacy dispensary experience is an asset.
  • Proficiency with Kroll/system experience is beneficial.
  • Availability to work days, evenings, and weekends.
