Landscape Labourer Job Description

Cangroup Landscaping Inc. is seeking a skilled Landscape Labourer to join our team. As a key member of our landscaping crew, you will be responsible for assisting with landscape constructions, tying and securing plants, and performing various outdoor maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including laying sod or seed, planting bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees.
  • Tie and secure plants, ensuring they are properly anchored and secure.
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain a well-manicured appearance.
  • Cut grass and perform other lawn care tasks as needed.
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials to support landscaping projects.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and other tools.
  • Remove trees and other vegetation as required.
Work Environment:

This is a physically demanding role that requires working outdoors in various weather conditions. You will be expected to work independently and as part of a team to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.

Requirements:
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but experience is an asset.
  • Punctuality and a hardworking attitude are essential for success in this role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment with varying weather conditions.
