Rapid Assessment Team Lead

The Saskatchewan Health Authority is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Rapid Assessment Team Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in resuscitation and critical care, with a commitment to medical education and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and coordinate resuscitation efforts as part of the Rapid Assessment Team.
- Provide advanced care, including airway management and resuscitative procedures.
- Supervise and mentor medical trainees, fostering a culture of education and simulation.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
- Proficient in ACLS and advanced resuscitation techniques.
- Experience with bedside ultrasound and resuscitative ECHO.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing complex airway scenarios and resuscitative procedures (CVLs, Arterial Lines, IOs, etc.).
- Strong interest in medical education and simulation.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and professional skills.
- Successfully completed a Royal College Fellowship training program (e.g., Anesthesia Residency, ICU Fellowship, Cardiology Fellowship with airway experience, or Emergency Medicine Residency).
- Equivalent training or significant resuscitation work experience will also be considered.
- Must hold a permanent appointment in a base department within SHA (e.g., Cardiology, Emergency Medicine, Anesthesia, ICU, Medicine) with full-time equivalency in good standing.
- Concomitant College of Medicine appointment required.
