Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Professional to join our team at the Bank of Montreal. As an Operational Risk Oversight Specialist, you will be responsible for providing oversight, monitoring, and reporting on operational risks for a designated portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and monitor the operational management framework, including the governance framework and practices.
  • Provide oversight and monitoring of operational risks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Bank of Montreal's risk management policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate operational risks.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize operational risk exposure.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and provide recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of operational risk management principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in risk management or a related field.
