Material Handler

Job Summary
Magna Exteriors is seeking a highly skilled Material Handler to join our team. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for conducting pre-shift inspections of forklifts, loading and unloading materials, and moving materials within or near the plant, yard, or workcell.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-shift inspections of forklifts and complete safety checklists
- Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, or shelves
- Supply production lines with required components
- Report any defective packaging and store them in designated areas
- Remove old labels from racks/containers
- Clean up work cell when necessary
- Attend training based on Mytox Internal Training Matrix
- Utilize effective Housekeeping Practices (shop floor, storage area forklift)
- Adhere to all Mytox safety rules and regulations
- Participate in Mytox Continuous Improvement and 5S activities
- Follow all applicable Mytox BOS procedures
- Any other reasonable request by management
Requirements
- Good English (both written and verbal) communication skills
- Basic Mathematical skills
- Knowledge of WHMIS/GHS
- Physically fit, ability to occasionally lift heavier boxes
- Experience in operating forklift required
- Current valid Forklift license
- Current valid Raymond Reach license
Desirable Qualifications
- Capability of operating overhead crane equipment
- Good organizational skills, ability to work well without supervision
