Job Summary

CSG Talent is seeking a highly skilled Principal Geotechnical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our geotechnical engineering group, you will be responsible for leading technical projects, providing expert advice, and collaborating with our design teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technical projects related to tailings, dams, and mining waste management
  • Provide expert advice on geotechnical site assessments, instrumentation installation, and data review
  • Participate in audits and risk assessments, and develop systematic monitoring and surveillance activities
  • Collaborate with our design teams, including civil and hydro geological, to develop and maintain existing relationships and gain new ones

Requirements

  • Consultancy background with experience in tailings and dam design
  • Strong technical knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
