Job Summary:

The Carpenter will be responsible for measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials. The successful candidate will also fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware, as well as maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
  • Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
  • Maintaining, repairing, and renovating residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments.
Work Environment:

The Carpenter will work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking environments, handling heavy loads and working in physically demanding conditions.

Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 40 hours per week.
Language:

The working language is English.
