Job Title: Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at PRO-SHIELD ENTERPRISES INC.

Job Summary:

The Carpenter will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and renovating residential structures, including framing, installing windows and doors, and finishing interior and exterior surfaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fabricate and install cabinets, countertops, and other woodwork
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residential structures, including homes, apartments, and condominiums
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in carpentry or a related field
  • Equivalent experience may be considered
Work Environment:

The Carpenter will work outdoors in various weather conditions and may be required to work at heights.

Work Setting:

The Carpenter will work in a fast-paced construction environment, with frequent deadlines and changing priorities.

Security and Safety:

The Carpenter will be required to undergo a criminal record check and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.

Transportation/Travel Information:

Public transportation is available, and the Carpenter may be required to travel to various job sites.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

The Carpenter will be required to work in a physically demanding environment, with frequent lifting, bending, and standing.
