Early Childhood Educator Infant Toddler/Special Needs

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at the Penticton Indian Band. As an ECE Infant Toddler/Special Needs, you will play a vital role in guiding and caring for children aged 0-3 years old.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive program that caters to the unique needs of infants, toddlers, and children with special needs.
- Provide individualized attention and support to children, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and inclusive learning environment.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, plans, and progress.
- Ensure compliance with governing childcare standards and regulations.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Current ECE Infant/Toddler and/or ECE Special Needs license to practice in the Province of British Columbia.
- Knowledge and understanding of standards of practice and regulations in the ECE field.
- Criminal record check.
- Three professional references.
- Medical note.
- Current First aid certificate.
- Food Safe certificate.
- Minimum three years' experience working with children aged 0-3.
