We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at 2747234 ONTARIO INC. as a key member of our accounting department.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledgers.
- Accounting and Financial Analysis: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Payroll and Benefits Administration: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, as well as administer benefits and other employee-related programs.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management and other stakeholders.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and laws, and identify and mitigate potential financial risks.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, MS Excel, and other relevant tools.
- Personal Qualities: Attention to detail, fast-paced environment, overtime required, repetitive tasks, tight deadlines, work under pressure.
