Job Title: Financial Accountant

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team at ONTARIO INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
  • Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
  • Prepare trial balance of books
  • Reconcile accounts

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Permanent employment
  • 35 hours per week
  • English language
