About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Specialist to join our team at Schindler Consulting. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Software Development: Write, modify, integrate, and test software code for various applications, including e-commerce and Internet applications.
  • Software Maintenance: Maintain existing computer programs by making modifications as required.
  • Technical Communication: Communicate technical problems, processes, and solutions to stakeholders.
  • Documentation: Prepare reports, manuals, and other documentation on the status, operation, and maintenance of software.
  • Research and Evaluation: Research and evaluate various software products to identify the best solutions for our clients.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in software development.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Visual Studio, MAC, Java, JavaScript, programming software, database software, C#, MS Windows, and HTML.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, initiative, organized, and team player.
