About the Role

Crown Electrical Contractors Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Installation Specialist to join our team. As an Electrical Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining electrical systems in various commercial and residential settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install underground wiring and cables to ensure safe and efficient electrical distribution.
  • Splice, join, and connect wires to meet the electrical needs of our clients.
  • Test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults, and circuit integrity to ensure electrical systems are functioning properly.
  • Troubleshoot and isolate faults to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
  • Connect power to audio and visual equipment to meet the electrical needs of our clients.
  • Install surface mount and/or overhead cables to ensure safe and efficient electrical distribution.
  • Ground and bond electrical equipment, systems, and structures to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structures to meet the electrical needs of our clients.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance programs to ensure electrical systems are functioning properly and safely.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure electrical installations meet the needs of our clients.
Work Environment and Requirements
  • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and overtime required.
  • Physically demanding work with attention to detail and ability to work in a team.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues.
  • Judgement and organized to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Work Term: Permanent with 35 to 40 hours per week.
  • Work Language: English with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
