Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Mary Brown Brooklin. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our food service operations.
- Requisition Food and Supplies: Source and procure high-quality food and kitchen supplies to meet our culinary needs.
- Supervise Food Service Staff: Lead and train a team of food service staff to ensure excellent customer service and food quality.
- Train Staff in Sanitation and Safety: Educate staff on proper sanitation and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe food service environment.
- Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Accurately estimate ingredient and supply needs to ensure efficient food preparation and minimize waste.
- Hire Food Service Staff: Recruit and hire qualified food service staff to meet our operational needs.
- Ensure Quality Control: Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality and service to meet customer expectations.
- Prepare Budget and Cost Estimates: Develop and manage budgets and cost estimates to ensure efficient food service operations.
- Address Customer Complaints: Respond to customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain Records: Keep accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform food service operations.
- Prepare Reports: Compile and submit regular reports on food service operations to management.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in food service management.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
