The Assurance Manager will be a vital member of the management team, serving as a leader to the firm's junior staff, and will employ their previous experience and expertise to deliver exceptional value to clients.

Responsibilities include:

* Leading and executing client engagements across different private industries and not-for-profits
* Leading and managing accounting and assurance
* Planning and leading teams, ensuring expectations are set and clearly communicated
* Promoting firm expertise and services
* Building and strengthening client relationships
* Driving the achievement of team objectives
* Supervising and actively participating in the mentoring, training, and development of staff, including the review of files
* Being a leader through the coaching and performance management process of the firm by providing ongoing feedback and delivering training to develop team members
* Promoting a culture of flexibility and inclusiveness
* Reading and reviewing files, completed assurance engagements, financial statements, and disclosures for adherence to CPA standards
* Responsible to communicate updates to CPA Standards and Handbook
* Assisting with client management and fostering excellent relationships with clients, including managing the information flow.

Requirements:

* CPA, experienced with management of audits and reviews
* Strong knowledge of CAS Audits, CSRE 2400, ASPE, ASNPO
* Demonstrates ability to manage and monitor multiple complex engagements
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
* Direct client service experience combined with a solid knowledge of business development
* Strong coaching and people development skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to build strong and meaningful relationships with colleagues and clients, based on trust and respect
