About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Transportation Labourer to join our team at Canadian Prairie Transport Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth transportation of goods across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Trucks and Delivery Drivers

Assist trucks and delivery drivers to load and unload vehicles, ensuring that all goods are handled with care and transported safely.

Perform Labouring Duties in Warehouses

Perform labouring duties in warehouses, including receiving and storing goods, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Support for Newcomers and Refugees

Assist with the immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees, including housing, transportation, storage, childcare, and winter clothing.

Support for Youths

Offer on-the-job training tailored to youth, providing them with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the transportation industry.

Support for Mature Workers

Provide staff with awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers, promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

Work Term and Hours

This is a permanent position, working 30 to 40 hours per week. The work language is English.
