Kitchen Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at Exit 5ive Pub & Restaurant. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, maintaining high standards of food quality and safety, and leading a team of cooks and kitchen staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and implement efficient kitchen procedures to meet production schedules and maintain high-quality food standards.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies, ensuring timely delivery and inventory management.
- Conduct regular food safety inspections and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Prepare and submit reports on kitchen performance, including food costs, inventory levels, and staff productivity.
- Collaborate with the chef and other kitchen staff to develop menus, plan meals, and ensure seamless service delivery.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- 2 years of experience in a kitchen supervisory role, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Food Safety Certificate and Safe Food Handling certification.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
