About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Osmows. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Implement Operational Procedures

Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules, manage food and kitchen supplies, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Lead and Train a Team

Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and ensure that all staff members are aware of their responsibilities and expectations.

Manage Inventory and Budget

Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports to management.

Ensure Quality and Customer Satisfaction

Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, address customers' complaints or concerns, and maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere for customers.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service establishment.

Work Setting

Fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.

Personal Suitability

Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player, initiative, and dependability.

Work Conditions

35 to 40 hours per week, permanent position, and work language: English.
