Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Edo Japan. As a Food Counter Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service
    • Take customers' orders in a timely and accurate manner
    • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Food Preparation
    • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to order
    • Portion and wrap foods for customers
    • Package take-out food for customers
  • Inventory Management
    • Keep records of the quantities of food used
    • Stock refrigerators and salad bars as needed
  • Cleanliness and Safety
    • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs
    • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Teamwork
    • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient service
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Will train on the job
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
