Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Design and Drafting Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing engineering designs and drawings, reading blueprints to determine work requirements, and developing and preparing design sketches. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare engineering designs and drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software
  • Read blueprints to determine work requirements and specifications
  • Develop and prepare design sketches and presentations
  • Prepare contracts and tenders, and estimate costs and materials
  • Write technical reports and specifications
  • Examine drawings for conformity and errors
  • Consult with clients, engineers, and production specialists to establish product requirements
Requirements
  • AutoCAD Certification
  • Drafting (Architectural) Trade Certification
  • 3D Modeling experience
  • Excellent technical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
