Job Title: Construction Civil Foreman

At Volker Stevin Contracting Ltd., we are seeking a highly skilled Construction Civil Foreman to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our grading crew and ensuring that projects are completed safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of the grading crew to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Conduct daily safety inspections and ensure that all crew members are following safety protocols.
  • Monitor and control the quality of work to ensure that it meets company standards.
  • Develop and implement plans to optimize resource utilization and improve productivity.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that projects are completed in accordance with contract specifications.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in civil or oilfield grading.
  • Valid Class 5 AB driver's license with a clean abstract.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in computer skills is considered an asset.
