Responsibilities:
  • Assist cooks in preparing and cooking food, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
  • Set tables, replenish condiments, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Assist with food preparation, including portioning, wrapping, and packaging food for take-out.
  • Provide excellent customer service, including taking orders and serving customers at counters or buffet tables.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors.
  • Assist with receiving, unpacking, and storing supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
