About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Assistant to join our team at Buoyant Pro Construction Inc. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by cleaning and clearing debris.
  • Construction Support: Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • Equipment Operation: Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
  • Site Maintenance: Clean and pile salvaged materials, and remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
Work Environment

As a Construction Assistant, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to handle heavy loads and work in various locations, including outdoors and underground.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Work Conditions: Physically demanding work environment with frequent overtime required.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
