Join Our Team as a Drywall Installer

Jetline Contracting Ltd. is looking for a dedicated Drywall Installer to enhance our workforce. This position requires a commitment to quality and a passion for craftsmanship.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
  • Experience: Previous experience ranging from 1 to 7 months is preferred.
Work Environment:
  • Exposure to dusty conditions.
  • Work is performed in outdoor settings.
Work Setting:
  • Engagement in both commercial and residential projects.
  • Flexibility to work at various locations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and submit tenders and quotations.
  • Oversee and coordinate the activities of junior workers.
  • Apply, level, and smooth plaster coatings.
  • Prepare and clean surfaces for application.
  • Cure newly plastered areas effectively.
  • Finish corners and angles, creating decorative elements as needed.
  • Mix plaster materials to achieve the right consistency.
  • Utilize spray techniques for acoustic or textured finishes on walls and ceilings.
  • Work safely at heights using scaffolding or swing stages.
  • Set up and install scaffolding and other work platforms.
  • Interpret blueprints, maps, and specifications accurately.
Supervision:
  • Responsible for supervising 1 to 2 team members.
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to bend, crouch, and kneel as required.
  • Strong hand-eye coordination.
  • Capable of handling heavy materials.
  • Willingness to manage a large workload and meet tight deadlines.
  • Overtime may be necessary.
  • Physically demanding tasks are part of the role.
  • Repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods are expected.
