We are seeking a skilled Stucco Plasterer to join our team at Apex Concepts Inc. as a key member of our construction team.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for applying successive coats of compound and sanding seams and joints, as well as mixing plaster ingredients to the desired consistency. They will also be required to work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, and erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints
  • Mix plaster ingredients to desired consistency
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms
  • Clean and prepare surfaces
  • Cure freshly plastered surfaces
  • Finish corners and angles and create decorative designs in finish coat, if required
  • Spray acoustic or texture materials over walls and ceilings
  • Trowel or spray coats of stucco over exteriors of buildings to form weatherproof surfaces
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will be working in a fast-paced construction environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results. They will be required to work outdoors, in a variety of weather conditions, and at heights.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the field
  • Ability to work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages
  • Ability to erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment
