About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and team-oriented individual to join our kitchen team at D SPOT DESSERT CAFE. As a kitchen helper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to maintain a hygienic environment.
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, and ensure they are properly stored.
  • Replenish condiments and supplies at tables and serving areas to maintain a well-stocked environment.
  • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, such as desserts and beverages.
  • Provide excellent customer service by serving customers at counters or buffet tables.
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars to ensure a wide range of options for our customers.
  • Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including appliances, equipment, and storage areas.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and tidy kitchen.
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit to prepare for cooking.
Requirements
  • Criminal record check
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
  • Weight handling up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Reliability and team player
Work Environment

We offer a permanent position with 30-40 hours of work per week. The work language is English.
