Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Painter and Decorator Supervisor to join our team at GoodHome Painting Inc. as a permanent, full-time position with 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee production and project reports to ensure accuracy and timeliness
  • Supervise and mentor a team of painters and decorators to achieve high-quality results
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to meet project deadlines and budgets
  • Develop and implement training programs for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Estimate costs and materials needed for projects, ensuring compliance with company standards
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment
  • Procure materials and supplies, managing inventory and minimizing waste
  • Repair and prepare surfaces for painting, ensuring a smooth finish
  • Apply paint, wallpaper, and finishes to meet client expectations
  • Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and fabric, demonstrating attention to detail
Requirements
  • Proven experience with roller painting, spray painting, brush painting, and airless spray equipment
  • Expertise in paint spraying, drywall taping/patching, and surface preparation, with a focus on quality and efficiency
  • Specialization in powdered coatings, multi-color finishes, wood finishing, and wallpaper, with a strong understanding of industry standards
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, with a focus on attention to detail and color recognition
  • Capacity to lift and handle materials up to 23 kg, with a focus on safety and ergonomics
