Job Summary

Bragg Creek Bottle Depot is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to fill the role of Shipper-Receiver. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods in and out of our facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Shipping:
    • Determine the most efficient method of shipment to meet customer needs
    • Prepare and process shipping documents, including bills of lading and invoices
    • Assemble and prepare containers and crates for shipment
    • Verify the accuracy of shipments and resolve any discrepancies
  • Receiving:
    • Inspect and verify the condition of incoming goods against invoices and other documents
    • Record and report any damages or shortages
    • Route goods to their designated storage areas
  • Inventory Management:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory levels and movements
    • Identify and report any discrepancies or anomalies in inventory
  • General:
    • Perform other duties as required to support the smooth operation of the facility
Requirements
  • Education:
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Work Environment:
    • Fast-paced environment with a focus on efficiency and productivity
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
    • Repetitive tasks and physical demands

  • Experience:
    • Previous experience in a shipping and receiving or inventory management role
