About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at HASTY MARKET. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign sales workers to duties and provide guidance on sales strategies
  • Hire and train staff, or arrange for training, to ensure they have the necessary skills to excel in their roles
  • Authorize payments by cheque and manage cash transactions
  • Order merchandise and maintain inventory levels to meet customer demand
  • Establish work schedules and supervise the activities of workers
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions
  • Resolve customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise
  • Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that stock levels are accurate and up-to-date
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers and staff
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods
  • Efficient time management and organizational skills
