Key Responsibilities
  1. Oversee and direct the organization’s accounting and financial planning activities, ensuring precision, promptness, and adherence to GAAP and regulatory standards.
  2. Collaborate with brokerage operations to deliver financial insights that facilitate informed decision-making.
  3. Spearhead the creation and execution of financial models and analyses that underpin business strategies and operational objectives.
  4. Work alongside business intelligence teams to improve reporting capabilities and promote data-driven decision-making.
  5. Formulate and sustain financial budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans in partnership with the CFO and other executive leaders.
  6. Provide financial evaluations and recommendations to aid decision-making and stimulate business expansion.
  7. Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, nurturing a culture of ongoing improvement and professional growth.
  8. Direct the adoption of financial systems and processes to bolster the company’s growth and scalability.
  9. Generate financial reports and presentations for senior management and external stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  2. Professional Accounting designation (CPA, CA, CMA, or CGA)
  3. Over 10 years of accounting experience in the Insurance sector
  4. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
  5. Familiarity with EPIC is advantageous
