**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our kitchen team. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food items in a timely and sanitary manner. You will work closely with our chefs and kitchen staff to ensure that all menu items are prepared to the highest standards.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • **Food Preparation**: Prepare and cook food items in a timely and sanitary manner, following recipes and presentation specifications.
  • **Station Setup**: Set up your station according to restaurant guidelines, ensuring that all necessary equipment and ingredients are available.
  • **Food Safety**: Ensure the quality and safety of food by performing standard and additional sanitary measures, including sweeping of the floors, cleaning of surfaces, and proper covering and storage of food items.
  • **Teamwork**: Work closely with our chefs and kitchen staff to ensure that all menu items are prepared to the highest standards.
  • **Customer Service**: Serve food in the proper portion size and at the proper temperature, ensuring that all customers receive excellent service.
  • **Reporting**: Report any infraction in the food services department policies and procedures, and follow proper reporting procedures for accidents and incidents.

**Requirements**

  • **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • **Experience**: Previous experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant setting.
  • **Skills**: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
