Retail Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Canadian Tire. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they have the necessary training and support to excel in their roles.
- Authorize the return of merchandise and resolve customer complaints in a fair and timely manner.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that all employees are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
- Sell merchandise and promote products to customers, highlighting their features and benefits.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that stock levels are adequate and that products are displayed attractively.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to employees to help them improve their performance.
As a Retail Store Supervisor, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and high expectations. You will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel to perform tasks, and have excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality.
Requirements:- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
The primary language of work is English.
Work Schedule:30 to 40 hours per week.
