Food Science Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Science Specialist to join our team at Del's Pastry Limited. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for conducting tests and analysis using various physical and chemical separation techniques.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct Tests and Analysis: Utilize various laboratory techniques to conduct tests and analysis on food products, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Set Up Chemical Experiments: Design and set up chemical experiments, tests, and analyses to evaluate the quality and safety of food products.
- Assist in Quality Control: Assist in the development and implementation of quality control programs to maintain high-quality standards.
- Compile Records: Compile and interpret experimental or analytical results, providing recommendations for process improvements.
- Transportation and Travel: Own transportation is required for this role.
- Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with a physically demanding workload.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
- Language: English is the primary language of communication.
- Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
