About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Support Technician to join our team at Nordstrom. As a key member of our Technology Operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our stores and employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely and effective assistance to users, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues on-site.
  • Utilize daily work management systems to prioritize tasks and communicate with leadership.
  • Protect Nordstrom's brand by ensuring data security and implementing appropriate security controls.
  • Identify and analyze technical issues, creating effective plans for resolution and documentation.
  • Perform maintenance activities to prevent technical equipment failures.
  • Meet target SLA and KPIs for the specific area.
Requirements
  • 2+ years' experience in tech support or a related field.
  • Experience troubleshooting, testing, or repairing technical equipment.
  • Familiarity with Windows 10/11, Dell Desktop/Laptop, Zebra hand-held mobile scanners, and other technical equipment.
  • High motivation and self-direction, with strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read and understand technical documentation and learn quickly.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-changing environment.
  • Ability to repetitively walk, bend, reach, stand, climb ladders, and lift up to 50lb boxes without difficulty.
