About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at Fraser Health Authority. As a Registered Nurse in our ICU, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients and develop individualized care plans to meet their unique needs
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues
Requirements
  • Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
  • Completion of applicable post-graduate course work or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
