Building Trades Helper

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter Helper to join our team at Total Home Centre Inc. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful completion of our projects.
Key Responsibilities- Load, Unload, and Transport Materials: Safely load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
- Erect and Dismantle Forms and Scaffolding: Assist in the erection and dismantling of concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
- Mix, Pour, and Spread Materials: Assist in mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt.
- Assist in Framing and Building: Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
- Remove Debris: Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
- Reciprocating Saws: Operate reciprocating saws for various tasks.
- Circular Saws: Operate circular saws for cutting materials.
- Air Compressors: Assist in the operation of air compressors.
- Air Guns: Operate air guns for various tasks.
- Nail Guns: Operate nail guns for framing and building.
- Drills: Operate drills for various tasks.
- Residential Construction: Assist in residential construction projects.
- Own Transportation: Possess a valid driver's license and own reliable transportation.
- Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Physically Demanding: Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy materials.
- Up to 23 kg (50 lbs): Lift and carry materials up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
- Steel-Toed Safety Boots: Possess steel-toed safety boots.
- Gloves: Possess gloves for protection.
- Legally Able to Work in Canada: Be legally able to work in Canada.
- Reside in Proximity to the Advertised Location: Currently reside in proximity to the advertised location.
- Previous Experience in the Field: Have previous experience in the field of employment.
- Work Term: Work on a permanent basis.
- Work Language: Work in English.
- Hours: Work 40 hours per week.
