Position Overview
We are looking for an assistant to support our Growth Investments team in Toronto. This role involves conducting thorough due diligence, fostering relationships, and overseeing investments in innovative companies and leading venture capital firms across North America and Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research, analyze, and facilitate investment commitments and direct placements
- Maintain relationships with essential partners and oversee current investments
- Collaborate effectively with various teams and departments
Required Qualifications
Essential Skills:
- 3-5 years of experience in investment banking, advisory roles, or startup investments
- Strong interest in innovative technologies and relationship management
- Excellent research, financial modeling, and interpersonal abilities
- Capability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to travel as needed
